It has been 2 weeks since I planted some new seed and it turns out my old 2008 Jung Yellow Squash seed did not take. So I am going to throw that seed out. I did find that I had some unopened 2010 Jung Yellow Squash seed that I am going to try so I planted 2 pots of those, to see if they take. I also found some 2015 seed from Valley Green, that I previously used, also so I planted 2 pots of that as well. The cantaloupe that I planted didn't seem to take either, do that probably can be tossed. I reused the pots that I had so I have the Jung seeds with the previous Jung seed pots. I put the Valley Green in the cantaloupe pot and started a new pot. It is getting a little late to start seed so I didn't bother replanting the cantaloupe, maybe better luck next year.

The tomatoes and peppers seem to be doing well. They haven't grown much, but given the state of the roots on most of them they are possibly still recovering. Still a little worried about the Roma plants as they are still pretty small. The zucchini is coming a long fine I have one pot with 3 and another with 1 that popped up. The watermelon I have one in each pot, they are still pretty young so hopefully they establish themselves more before we plant them outdoors. I have moved the zucchini and the watermelon off the heat pad and put them in with the tomatoes and peppers. I left the yellow squash on the heat pad and put the cover back on until they sprout.

I am hoping by Mother's day to have everything ready to plant. I may plant sooner, I don't think on May 2nd, but I am thinking May 9th might be a good weekend for that which is 2 weeks out. We will see how the weather does and the plants look.
