Solution: Needed a place to add more lighting without hanging it from the ceiling. A place to put a power strip that would be easier to access would be nice as well. I didn't want to rebuild the workbench so I need something to add to the existing work bench.
Result: Added an overhead mount, still looking at finishing it but added the plans below.
