Started the next batch of seeds. this time in the peat cups. Have a few yellow squash pots that may or might not sprout. The seeds are a bit old and I think I had some issues with them last year. Have some new seeds for zucchini which should do well, so I will have something. Couple saved seeds that I hope are still good, had a couple envelopes of cucumbers one that I am not sure the type that is listed on the envelope, which is the question mark. Also saved some seeds for what was called an Indiana Cantaloupe, we will see how well they fair in Minnesota.
Re-potted a Roma pot that had two sprouts. It was the only one that survived the first batch. Some of the other tomatoes did sprout. I have a couple Brandywine pots, a Better boy, and a Opalka that spouted. So far no Delicious or the Jalapenoes, which the Jalapenoes I might end up buying the plants. I will probably given them a couple more weeks before giving up on them.
Started some onions in the gardens. Got about 50 each of the red and yellow. I put the Yellow where I had onions last year as there were some that are coming up from last year (about 19 or so). The red I put in the trellis garden, hopefully I will have enough room for a cucumber or a cantaloupe in there next month. Broke up the soil a bit before putting them in, just hope I didn't plant them too deep. I also removed some garlic that was popping up in the trellis garden as they doesn't seem to fully form or die before I can get to them.
