Finally all of the surviving tomato plants have their second leaves, one set even has their 3rd set of leaves. So I transferred them to the pots so hopefully they grow quickly. I normally try to have everything in the garden by Mother's day, but this year I don't think that is going to happen for the tomatoes. They seem slow growing for the ones I just transplanted, so hopefully before June 1 they will be ready to transplant in the garden. That is what I get for killing the first set and replanting so late in the season.

Everything else looks better and it looks like my list of plants that I will have to buy are down to two. The old yellow squash seeds finally seemed to not want to grow, so I will definintly need to get a couple of those plants. The other plant that I will have to get is jalapeno. I found that the plants from Mill's Fleet Farm seem to be the best for heat, at least the year I got them. Unfortunately the two seeds I had left from when I saved jalapeno seeds in 2019, were not viable. Also once the seeds are frozen in the jalapeno they don't seem to grow, either. Just will need to add them to the goal of saving seeds, this year.

Visited some family last night, and came home with some red potato starters. I put them in this morning next to my onions and where I had tomatoes last year. Wasn't planning on adding potatoes to my garden and kind of worried about their growth. Given I only have about 6 tomato plants and will probably be planting beans and jalapenos in that garden, I figured I would have the room needed to play with things. We shall see how well they grow where I put them.
