Finally got a round to pulling up the potatoes. This summers drought didn't do them any favors. Had about 17 at golf ball size or larger and about 24 that were smaller with maybe a third of the smaller being about the size of a pea. One good thing is that it got me to turn over the soil, and help break it up a bit. Not sure if I want to do those again though, I might if given the opportunity again.

Did some seed saving today. Grabbed some dried beans and some semi-dried beans and pulled the seeds. I ended up with two sizes, a "normal" size and a "large" size seeds. The large are about 2x the normal, which I found odd. They seem to have came from a plant in my 2019 seeds. I separated them out so we will see how well they do next year, ended up with a couple packets of both. I don't do anything to prevent cross pollination so it is possible it mixed with something else. I also grabbed some seeds from the Cascadia peas. I might have waited too long to get the peas, but hopefully they will be viable.

Last week I pull some Jalapeno and Serrano seeds and dried them. A reminder if you ever get seeds from a spicy pepper is to use gloves and don't rub your eyes or lips. Yes I was dumb and found out why. I even used soap and water to wash my hands, it didn't help much. So definitely use gloves.
