The time of year to tear down the gardens. Got everything torn down and got things winterized. Despite possibly hitting 80's tomorrow. With the end of the season, I did learn that I can plant beans after pulling the garlic and they do produce, if I can keep the animals off them. Also the tomatoes can't be that far down the garden. They didn't get enough light to really produce. I need to find a few plants that might do better in a more shaded area. Hopefully I can get around to tearing down my pond and work on making it a garden. I will see if I am ambitious enough to do that this fall yet. Otherwise hopefully early spring. Though if the winter is like last year I might have more opportunities to get it done.
Did plant something. I put in about 30 garlic cloves into the garden. Just stuck with one type as there doesn't seem to be much of a difference between them for flavor. So I stuck with one.
