Coming Full Circle

Well looks like the Modular Game Board project has come full circle. I am taking one last stab as building a modular game board, this time just framing the 2'x2' panels, which was the original plan. Of course, being able to change panels by flipping them over would be really nice, due to my level of wood working skills, it isn't going to happen at this time. I might still try to be fancy with this yet, but we will have to wait and see. I hope this works otherwise I am going to be seriouly considering getting the GW game board, which I might anyways the idea is kind of growing on me. It also depends on how much more 40k gaming I might get in.

I am going to attempt to expand my gaming back to a level I had when I was in Duluth, but stretching over 2 stores. This may not end well, I got in my first game of D&D Encounters last night. Got to meet some new people and even ran into an old coworker that I haven't seen for at least 10 years. The store that is closer doesn't carry GW stuff, which is sad, and they have a smaller game room. But they have a small group of people that start this latest round of D&D Encounters and I had a night off of 40k so I figured I would check it out. This might become a regular thing, they also have a board game night which is cool. The only bad thing about board game night, we can only play games that the store can sell. (We really need a game store in Mankato that people can just hang out at and play random games.) I have a few games that might be on the frengs of what they sell, I think they can at least order it, well will see what I can get away with.
