Added another journal entry to my Vegetable garden "book" and reorganized the book a bit to be an actual book. At least it is easier to go through and see what is available, though I am not sure I like the format yet. I need to play a bit more and see what else I can come up with.
In the gaming world things are looking a bit better, found some people that play Warhammer: Invasion with finally. So now I get to spend even less time writing code, blogging and working on projects. Sad I know, but I get to meet people in the area and have fun doing it. Besides I need to get out more anyway. If I can only find a spot and some people that share my span of games I like to play I will be set. But from what I can tell most are pretty compartmentalized, as in they only play certain types of games and that is it, which is strange to me. Living in Duluth, people there played just about anything under the sun and were willing to play most of the time. Here there is too much of a time constraint I think and so they don't "Hang out" at the game store and so the community gets sterile. Oh well, do what I can to help the community and hopefully it grows.
As some of the spammers have noticed my email notices are working better now. Had a little issue of my mail server not authenticating with the smart host properly. I was able to get that resolved and already have at least one new person actually check in and set up their password. Still see a lot of junk users that sign up but don't do anything, which is kind of sad as there is no benefit to signing up except to add comments that in themselves don't get posted unless I say. I added a nice module that checks email addresses before sending anything, which should cut down some of the spamming from my site, but as with anything on the internet, no promises. So spammers find some place better to peddle your junk, it isn't wanted here.
