Haven't written for a while, but nothing really interesting has happened much either. So this entry will be a bit short. Only things of note is I didn't bother planting the cucumbers and squash and they are vine plants and would be a pain to deal with. The current vine plants I have, peas, I needed to get so dowels to put in the "pots" to have something they can climb up. Teaching the peas was a bit of a pain, but was able to use twist ties and lightly wrapped around the vines to give some support.
Some of the peppers have popped up, but I am almost willing to bet I labeled them wrong. I put Jaleopeneo peppers and regular peppers in the same row but according to my label the older Jeleopeneos were the first to come up and the regular pepper have not. I guess we will find out later this summer which made it up. I am hoping more for the regular peppers, but will will see.
Temperture outside seems to have warmed up some, still going to wait a week before planting some outside. Been working on the "flower" gardens some getting rid of the maple tree seedlings and weeding out some plants that have spread and some weeds. But with the constant rain it has been a slow process. I also haven't beeen able to dig up both of the plants I want to get rid of and replace with corn and sunflowers, and is already sprouting. Hope to have more for you next weekend.
