After putting it off long enough, I planted the gardens with just about everything on my list. I ended up putting the taller stuff in the flower garden since I still need to work on getting the garage painted. So in the corner of the garden I alternated sunflowers and sweet corn in about 6 rows with 3 plants in each. I also planted a couple cantaloupe seeds as well in the middle of the corn and sunflowers. Then in another opening where a plant I dug up earlier I up my peas and I purchased a tomato and sweet pepper plants and put there also. Still debating on putting some squash there but I don't know yet.
In the garden by the garage, I put a row of green and a row of yellow beans. I also put a row of the salad mix and swiss chard. There was a small opening where I planted cucumbers. The onions, garlic and leeks are still doing good, and the onions might be producing seeds soon. I weeded out some of the leeks and they seem to be to close together.
Only ended up using the peas and beans that made it up in my starter seeds. Though I am not sure how well they will last, so I added some other seeds to augments them. The peppers and tomates are still in there, which I might still plant, but again still debating it.
At least the garden is bigger and has stuff I would actually be able to use. Next year I shouldn't have to wait for the garage, unless I have to rebuild it. So I should be better prepared.
