This last weekend I went to another tournament in Duluth at Dragon Port Games and Comics. Didn't do very good, but the battles were close and got a few compliments on my models. Overall I had 2 losses and 1 draw.
First game was against Grey Knights, Pretty well put together army, but didn't get to see my favorite model (Dread Knight) though. Lost in that game, but held up better than I thought.
The second game was against Blood Angels. This army had an interesting tactic, he had 3 tanks that had all flamer templates and they were scouts. With these features he was able to flame my units on the first turn. He was able to take out a unit of lootas, but the other units only lost a few. I was able to take out or at least disable all three tanks on my turn. This game ended up being a draw.
The third game ended up being the prettiest as it was my only game where both sides had all models painted. This was a Blood Angel list, with a more choas looking models, but were well done. In fact, my opponent got the painter's award. This one I screwed up on deployment, we would have been a draw if I would have swapped my Lootas with my Shoota Boys. The Lootas were next to one of the objects, the Shoota Boyz weren't. Oh well live and learn.
Attached to this entry I have my army list and below are some pictures I took with my phone, as I forgot my camera. These were after the first round to show off the armies for painting score.
