Getting a Second Opinion

Well went and played some 40k. Lost at 1000 points, with a Ork list of high mobility. Two vehicles, a truck with nobs and warboss, the other a battlewagon full of 'ard boyz. No foot sloggers, against Black Templar army, I just needed some more numbers  I might have made it across the board with the Tamplar's shooting. I got some input on the Option 2 plan for a frame.

Originally I was planning having two beams down the center the long way to support the panels, but it was pointed out that I needed more support across the short way as really the long way should be already well supported. I am kind of sad though, it was also pointed out it might be better to have at least 4 points that I bolt down on the ends of the frame (one in each corner). It is either that or I do some fancy calculations to holding them together. This is a good thing, as my original plan would probably ended up with some bracers going the short way and been more things to carry. Granted this way I will still have more things to carry, which is about 4' more of wood. Considering this is my first attempted in about 16 years to build something out of wood, I am going to take the advice and run with it (Thanks John for the input). I am just glad I haven't cut any wood yet as I am going to need to recalculate the lengths yet. I will put up my SketchUp file I had of the original and hopefully tomorrow redraw the new design and post that as well
