Problem: For the games I play they require assembly and painting of the models. Generally when you paint models it is best to spray on a primer for the paint to stick to. I need a box to spray paint models and other things with out the paint going all over the place. Since this needs to used indoors I need a way to vent out the fumes so it doesn't take over the house.
Solution: Picked up a vent fan that plugs in for use with the paint box. Also got some vent tubes and built a mount for a basement window to vent it outside. Used the same filter size as I use for my furnace, in case I wanted to reuse filters. The last thing I added to the design is a turn table mounted board on the bottom so I can spin the models to get all the sides of the models.
Result: Works very well, just barely fit down the stairs. I will try and add specs for the fan as that was sufficent to move air out the vent.
