The drive was poured this morning, received a voice mail from the mason and was told to stay off it for 10 days. So far no one has tried to do anything to it and it looks really nice. I think when it dries I might have to get my rollerblades out. As you can see in the pictures there they lowered a point to help the water drain off to the north side. I am told that the driveway is at a slight angle to help with that also. Hopefully it will dry enough for some of that to be tested in a few days when it rains. They are suppose to be back out to score it for controlled breaks and remove the form.
As for the gravel dilemma I still have not found any takers. I started to work on taking some of the black dirt off the top of the pile. Which I am finding is a bad idea, but at least more the gravel will be there. Unfortunately it will also be with the dirt I removed. I am going to need an industrial strength tiller to get this yard into shape.
