Amazingly we had a few visitors today. The electricians and the masons both showed up to day and did some work. Talking to the masons they are recommending on holding on pouring any more cement this year. They way he explained it that salt on a freshly poured cement is a bad thing. So they spread out the gravel for now so I will have a driveway for the winter, though I am not looking forward to shoveling it
Talking to the electrians I was finally able to get some more insight into what I need to do the conduit properly. One even helped me by drilling the holes I needed for the conduit so I have access to them in the attic. They dug a new trench for the electrial and added a larger conduit. This new conduit is now into the side of the garage and ran to the house. It isn't in the house yet, but it getting closer to being connected. They still need to get things inspected, which I am guessing will happen next week.
I asked them to leave the trench open for the electrical so I could move the other conduit closer to the door instead of the corner of the house. Turns out I dug the existing conduit trench a bit deeper and bent it at the house to come up just before the new electrial conduit. That was a lot of work, in fact I am not done with it. I still need to glue the conduit and run a string through them so I can run cable later, then fill everything back in. Another thing that I need to work on is the conduit on the inside. Hopefully tomorrow I can get everything done so it will be ready for the sheet rocker to come in and get the inside ready. Ran a bit late so inside pictures will have to wait.
Here is some of the work that I did today. I just need to get them glued, stringed, and buried tomorrow. Then I can work on organizing things on the inside. On another note the old electrical line that went to the garage, is now going to be a outdoor outlet on the back of the house.
