Today, they were able to get most of a roof on the garage. The odd thing was the contractor's truck was still in the driveway when I came home. When I went to take pictures for this page I found out why. Looking at the back of the garage the plywood was folded over on the corner and one of the braces was broken up. Shortly after I called the contractor and his wife answered the phone saying they were in the emergancy room. Later he gave me a call, and it sounds like he got too close the edge and fell off the roof. He ended up landing on his hammer and nail gun and a few inches from a stake that was keeping the brace in place. He ended up injuring his pelvis bone, and they are going to be keeping him the night, due to some brusing. He assured me the project will go on, I am just glad he was still breathing at least. Not something I would wish on anyone.
Here is a closer look at the brace and the plywood.
