Well the garage seems to be done enough for the year. It will probably won't be until this spring before any more work is done. Only thing that might still get done this year is to drill some holes for the conduit that I have run. The electricians failed to remember to drill those.
However the electricians hooked everything else up. I now have a switch in my stairwell, that isn't in a place I would have liked, for the coachlights. So I can turn them on in the house, I am beginning to think I should not have done that. All of the outlets are hooked up land ready to go.
The garage door guys showed up as well and now I have a garage door and opener. The opener seems to be expandable, I will have to look into what else to add to get some home automation stuff going. It was kind of fun watching them put the whole thing together. Turns out one of the guys installing it was a person I game with from time to time. He mentioned it is an un-insulated one for now as the vinyl does install well in this weather. So sometime this spring they will be back out to install that.
I haven't tried moving anything in yet, I figured I would wait until the contractor has a chance to get things out of there. I might after work tomorrow attempt to drive into it. Even that I am not sure about, until I hear from the contractor. Either way there is a lot of landscaping, and finishing touches that still need to happen this spring.
